About us
The Department of Public Health and the Department of Parasitology were established by Prof. Petrus Tang and Prof. Ling-Ling Hsieh respectively when Chang Gung Medical College was founded in 1987. These two departments were merged as the Department of Public Health and Parasitology in 1998. Prof. Ling-Ling Hsieh was appointed as the first department head of the new department. In 2010, Prof. Lin-Chen Wang succeed as the department head.
